Sunidhi chauhan
Sunidhi chauhan is a famous Indian playback singer born on 14th august, 1983 in Delhi. Her real name is Nidhi chauhan. She began her singing career in very early age. She was four when she began her career by singing in a local temple in Delhi. She continued her career and participated in various singing competitions. At the same time her family moved to Mumbai where Sunidhi Chauhan was able to get better opportunities. She was recognized through a singing contest “meri Awaz suno” which she won.
Sunidhi Chauhan started her career as a playback singer in 1996 by singing song for as Indian film “shastra”. Her breakthrough was the hit song “Ruki Ruki si zindagi”. At that time she was only thirteen. After that journey towards success started. Till the age of 19 she had sung about 350 songs. Some of her popular songs are: “mehboob mere”, “Dhoom machale”, “beedi”, “aja nachle”, “Sajnaji vari vari”, “dance pe chance”, “desi girl” and “bhumro”
She got a very different voice as compared to other playback singers in India. Her powerful and beautiful voice makes her very prominent in this field. She is probably the only Indian singer who can sing about all genres of music including “rock”, “pop”, “classical” and “semi-classical”.
