Kareena Kapoor was born on 21 September 1980. She is an Indian film actress. There are many hit bollywood movies on her credit. She was born in a filmy family. Her parents and her elder sister are actors that is why she came in media at very young age. She started her acting career in 2001 with the film “Refugee”. This film was a hit at that time and she got awards. Next film which places her in lime light is “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham”. This was the major hit of the bollywood industry of 2001.
From the years 2002-03 her performance is not very appreciated by the critics. In the year 2004 she acted the movie “Chameli”. Her acting in this movie is highly appreciated and this film is the major mile stone of her career. She got several awards for this movie. In the next two years she got awards in the movie Dev and Omkara. Her Acting in these two movies is marvelous and both these movie make a successful business.
In 2007 her romantic comedy film “Jab we Met” is released. This film is directed by Imtiaz Ali. This film is the major hit and she got best actress award for this movie. On 16 October 2012, Kareena Kapoor married Saif Ali Khan in a private ceremony.
