Stir Fried Mushrooms

Stir fry mushrooms is a quick, easy and full of flavor dish. It comes together very quickly and It is healthy vegan dish. Give it a try on this weekend. I hope you will like it.

Ingredients

10 medium to small sized mushrooms

1 tbsp of red chili powder

¼ tsp of turmeric powder (optional)

1 tsp of salt

1 small sized onion, chopped

2 tbsp of vegetable oil

½ cup water

Procedure

Take mushrooms, wash them well and let them dry. Once they dry cut them in small piece, set them aside. Peel off onion, finely chop it. Take a pan, add vegetable oil in it. On medium heat preheat your oil. Add onions in it. Let them cook little bit for about 2 minutes. Then add a splash of water. Add red chili powder, salt and turmeric powder. Mix them well. Add mushrooms in it, fry them for 4 to 5 minutes then add remaining water and let it come to boil. Once it comes to a boil close the lid and let it simmer for 10 minutes. When water evaporates and sauce thickens a bit turn off the flame and you are ready to serve.
