Spicy Chicken Wings

Spicy chicken wings served as a snack or an appetizer. Spicy chicken wings are crispy from outside and tender from inside. As chicken wings are small in size can be cook quickly and served in no time at all. Fried snack for rainy season.

Ingredients

To marinade

2 dozen chicken wings
1 tbsp steak seasoning
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp hot sauce

Flour mixture

3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup corn flour
2 tsp rice flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
1 tsp italian mixed herbs
1 tsp chicken powder
Cooking oil for frying

Procedure

1. Using a fork or a knife break muscles of chicken wings, so that maximum amount of marinade can be absorb by the meat.

2. In a big bowl add chicken wings, steak seasoning, apple cider vinegar and hot sauce. Mix well. Cover with some plastic wrap and refrigerate it overnight.

3. For the flour mixture, in a big bowl add all purpose flour, corn flour and rice flour. Add salt, crushed black pepper, italian mixed herbs and chicken powder. Mix well. Set that aside.

4. Take out chicken wings from your refrigerator 2 hours before cooking so that it can come to room temperature before applying flour mixture.

5. Now take each chicken wing coat it in flour mixture then dip it in normal water. Wait for 10 seconds. Again coat well in the flour mixture and set aside. Repeat same process for each wings.

6. Preheat cooking oil on medium heat, once oil is hot, start adding chicken wings. Don’t stir too much, leave them for first few minutes. Once they get light golden in colour and crispy around the edges. Flip them and fry from the other side.

7. It will take about 8-10 minutes to cook completely. Once done serve immediately with some hot sauce and enjoy.
