Grilled Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo


Alfredo sauce is often considered as white sauce but they are different from each other. There is no flour involved in classic Alfredo sauce. White sauce pasta is already on the website. Classic Alfredo fettuccine is a dish involve Alfredo sauce and a special shape of pasta known as fettuccine. Traditionally it is Alfredo fettuccine but you can make it from any pasta shape you like or have on your hand. Grilled chicken is a must to have on side.

Ingredients

Chicken marinade

1 chicken breast, thinly sliced pieces
3 tsp of olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
1tbsp of paprika
3 large cloves of garlic
1/2 tsp of salt
1 tsp of black pepper
1 tsp parsley
2 tbsp of butter

Cooking fettuccine

250g dry fettuccine
6 cups Water
1 tbsp of salt
Alfredo sauce;
2 cloves of garlic
2 tbsp of butter
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup of cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp white pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp parsley

Procedure

1.Marinating chicken
Grind garlic and make a fine paste.In a bowl add chicken, olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, salt, black pepper, and parsley. Marinate chicken for 30 minutes.

2. Boiling fettuccine
In a large pan add 6 cups of water and heat it on medium heat, let it come to a boil add salt mix it and add your fettuccine. Stir and let it cook for 8 to 10 minutes or according to the package instructions. Strain it and let set that aside.

3. Grilled chicken
Apply butter on grill pan and grill chicken on medium heat. They will take about 3 to 4 minutes on each side and set that aside.

4. Alfredo sauce
Add butter and chopped garlic to the pan, mix and let it cook on medium heat for 2 minutes. Add heavy cream and cheddar cheese and mix well. Add white pepper, oregano leaves, and parsley. Mix well and sauce is done.

5. Assembling
Add cooked pasta in the sauce, cut your grilled chicken into bite size pieces and add that into sauce. And serve.
