The longest running show so far of Indian television without any doubt is “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.” The show is based on background of rajasthan. This show is produced by Rajan Shahi. The show was started 9 years back on January12, 2009. When the journey is so long, it cannot be ended in just few words. A lot of hard work is required to make such a good show. At that time it was on aired at 9:30 pm on Star plus. It was the story of Akshara who is brought up in maheshwari family in Udaipur.
Akshara is an average, very under-confident girl and very loved by her family. She always thought about love but never experience it but she finds her love after an arrange marriage with Naitik singhania. Theme of the story was how two strangers come close and fall in love with each other. Not only it shows story of couple but also it includes the relations of both of their families. This show is full of festive occasions. The problem of daily life is discussed very beautifully in the story line. Without having any negative character this show has made a special place in the heart of audience. The bonding and healthy relations they show in the show was superb and fascinating.
As the story progress they show that how well they maintain their relations. The difficulties Akshara and Naitik have seen to brought up their children is well executed. Further they show the story of their children Naksh and Naira. Currently they are showing the story of Naira, who is married to kartik. The main lead character was played by Hina Khan as Akshara maheshwari singhania (currently contestant in big boss season 11) and Karan Mehra as Naitik singhania. The new leads of the show are Shivangi joshi as Naira and Mohsin khan as kartik. This young generation has also mark their places and they are still entertaining their audience.
