Rohail Hyatt is a Pakistani musician, songwriter and producer. He was also the member of the band called “vital signs” from late 80s to early 90s. He was one of the people who founded that band. The debut song of the band “vital signs” was “dil dil Pakistan” (1987) which was one the most popular songs in the history of Pakistan! It was rated as the “third most popular song of all time” by BBC world in 2003.

The band “vital signs” maintained its position on the top for the whole decade, basically because of the coordination and good work by the band members. And Rohail hyatt was one of them! Vital signs disbanded in 1990’s but Rohail hyatt continued his work in music. His ideas and productions are always appreciated by most of the people.

As a producer, Rohail Hyatt worked with the collaboration of Pepsi cola international and produced two very famous shows for television. One of them was “Pepsi inside the edge”. This program was about cricket and it was for cricket fans. The other show was called “Pepsi battle of the bands”. This show was not only popular among the youth but also was very good for local talent hunt. Several bands rose to fame thought this platform (entity paradigm for example). Rohail hyatt also produced one of the most popular TV shows of Pakistan “coke studio”. He is the executive producer and the consultant director of the first 6 season of the show.

Rohail Hyatt worked with several famous singers and bands. He produced an album in 2003 featuring rahat fateh ali khan. Music of the famous movie “khuda ke liye” (2007) was also done by rohail hayat.
