Amir Khan is a very popular actor of Indian Film Industry. He was born in Mumbai on 14th March 1965. He is not only a film actor but also a director and a producer. Amir Khan started his career as a child artist in 1973 in Nazir Hussain movie “yaadon ki baarat”. He also worked in the movie called “madhosh” in 1974. Later in 1984 his professional career begun with the movie called “holi”.

In 1988, Amir Khan appeared in a movie called “Qyamat se Qyamat tak”. In this movie, he was not only the story writer but also played the lead role and the movie was a great hit in Indian film industry. Amir Khan won the “filmfare best debut award” for this film and it was the beginning of his successful career in Indian film industry.

Amir Khan has also contributed in Indian film industry as a producer. His first film as a producer was “lagan”. This movie was released in 2001 under his own production company called “Amir Khan Productions”. He produced another film “taree zameen par”. Amir Khan was the director and also played a supporting role in the movie. In 2008 “janee tu yah jane nah” was also released under Amir Khan’s production house. In 2011 another movie called “dobhi ghaat” released under this production company.
