One pot cream cheese pasta

One pot cream cheese pasta is a variation of white sauce pasta. It contains whole milk and cream cheese as basic ingredients. Comes together really fast. Grilled chicken is optional but goes really well with white sauce.

Ingredients

1 whole chicken breast
4 tbsp of olive oil
3 tbsp steak seasoning
3 tbsp of butter
3 cloves of garlic
2 cup milk
3/4 tsp of salt
3/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp italian seasoning
200 g of penne pasta
150 g cream cheese
Half roasted bell pepper, thinly sliced
Some sliced olives

Procedure

1. Take a whole chicken breast, cut it into half and remove all the bones. Try to remove all the bones carefully. Make two fillets, pound both fillets. Add some olive oil and spread evenly. Sprinkle some steak seasoning and coat evenly.
2. Pound it again from other side. Pour some olive oil. Sprinkle some steak seasoning and rub evenly. Set that aside for 20 minutes.
3. Add butter in a pan, let it melts. Add olive oil and spread evenly. Add garlic and let it cook a little bit until turn light golden in colour. Gradually start pouring milk into it.
4. Add salt, crushed black pepper and steak seasoning. Mix well. Bring it to a boil then add pasta. Cover the lid, let it cook for about 6 to 8 minutes or until pasta is fully cooked.
5. Add cream cheese and mix well. Add butter in a grill pan. Let it melt, add both fillets of chicken. Cook 4-6 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Add green bell peppers in the grill pan. Lightly roast them.
6. Add roasted bell peppers in the pasta and mix well. Add olives and stir. If sauce gets thick add little bit more milk and adjust the seasoning. Serve right away with grilled chicken on top. Enjoy.
