This Nutella Samosas recipe is an interesting twist to traditional India snack, Samosas are savoury triangle shape Pastry. Traditionally a samosa is filled with Vegetables or chicken pieces. We filled it with Nutella and you know what, it taste delicious and looks awesome as well. You can follow this easy recipe and we hope you like it as well.
Ingredients for Nutella Samosas
1 cup of All purpose flour
½ tbsp of powdered sugar
¼ tsp of baking powder
2 tsp of clarified butter/ghee
Water,as you need
Nutella for stuffing
Vegetable oil for frying
Procedure
1- In a bowl sift flour and baking powder. To that add powdered sugar and clarified butter. Mix dough with the help your hand and gently start adding 2 tbsp of water at a time.
2- Keep kneading and add water as you need, until you get a smooth dough (you can also do this in your standing mixer or food processer).
3- Wrap up your dough in plastic wrap and set that aside to rest at room temperature for about 15 to 30 minutes. After that take that dough and divide it in 6 small size balls. Roll each ball into small circle and cut it into half.
4- Dip your finger in water and apply on the cut side of the dough, fold both edges and close them. It should be in the shape of cone. Fill it with 1 tsp of nutella, and again apply water on the edges and close it.
5- Repeat step 4 on each half of the circle. Complete all the samosas and refrigerate them for about half an hour to one hour.
6- In a deep pan heat up vegetable oil on medium heat and start adding samosa. Don’t overcrowd the pan. Fry them until they get that golden color on both sides. Take them out on a paper towel. Serve hot and enjoy…
