Grilled chicken wings

Chicken wings is a great side dish or as a snack. Grilled chicken wings are on a healthier side. Grilled wings are made using less quantity of oil. These wings can be deep fried but to keep it on a healthier side and give it some smokey taste like barbeque these wings are grilled in a grill pan.

Ingredients

3 dozen chicken wings
1 tsp salt
1 tsp crushed coriander seeds
3/4 tsp garam masala
1 tsp red chili powder
¾ tsp red chili flakes
½ tsp paprika powder
½ tsp crushed black pepper
1/3 tsp roasted cumin seeds
1/3 tsp turmeric powder
3 tsp olive oil
2-3 cloves of garlic
½ inch ginger piece
½ cup yogurt
2 tsp desi ghee
2 tsp vegetable oil

Procedure

1. In a small bowl add salt, crushed coriander seeds, garam masala, red chili powder, red chili flakes, paprika powder, crushed black pepper, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, olive oil, crushed ginger and garlic. Stir it well.

2. Add yogurt and mix well. Add this marinade in chicken wings and mix. Cover with a plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Next day, take out chicken wings and let them sit on kitchen counter for 2 hours.

3. Once they come to the room temperature. Preheat grill pan on medium heat. Add desi ghee and vegetable oil. Preheat on medium heat. Start adding chicken wings. Cook them on medium heat for 8-10 minutes.

4. Take them out as soon as they are done. Repeat the process until all the wings are done.
