Chinese style spaghetti is a combination of whole wheat pasta along with chinese sauce seasoning. Using chinese style cut vegetables and stir fry with spaghetti makes together best combination.
Ingredients
1 whole skinless chicken breast
For marinade;
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1/2 tbsp crushed black pepper
1 tbsp corn flour
For sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp chilli sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
1 tsp salt
200g spaghetti
Veggies
1/2 green bell pepper
1 small onion
1/2 cup cabbage
2 large cloves of garlic
2 inch ginger piece
1/2 carrot
1/4 cup cooking oil
Procedure
1. Remove all the bones from chicken breast. Thinly slice lengthwise chicken strips. Add soy sauce,oyster sauce, crushed black pepper and corn flour. Mix well and set aside.
2. In a separate small deep plate,add honey, soy sauce, oyster sauce, apple cider vinegar, chilli sauce and red chilli flakes. Mix well and set aside.
3. In a non-stick pan, boil water on medium heat. Add salt and spaghetti to the boiling water. Stir gently. Let spaghetti to lose its hard texture and get soft. Cook according to the package instructions. It will take about 8-10 minutes.
4. Chop up garlic. Thinly slice ginger, bell pepper, onions, carrots and cabbage. Once done take out spaghetti, drizzle some olive oil and set aside.
5. In a pan, add cooking oil. Heat up oil on medium heat. Add marinated chicken, don’t stir it too quickly let chicken pieces be there to fry in hot oil. Cook chicken on high heat. Add garlic and stir it for 2 minutes.
6. Add onions and fry for a minute. Add thinly sliced ginger. Add carrots sautee for a minute. Add green bell pepper, stir it. Add cabbage. Stir it well. Add boiled spaghetti and mix well. At last add sauce mixture. Turn off the flame, cover for 10 minutes. Stir it well and serve.
