  • The Australian Silky Terrier should absolutely be at the top of this list. This small dog has and big infectious personality. All who meet them fall in love. They can go from guard dog (who only barks when strangers approach) to lovable lap dog easily carried in a bag while shopping. They’re relatively healthy dogs who LOVE to play and who LOVE their owners. They rarely shed and are told to be hypo allergenic…Great dogs…the best pet I’ve ever had!

  • THE CHIHUAHUA IS NOT THE WORLD’S SMALLEST DOG. THE WORLD’S SMALLEST DOG IS THE RARE PRAZSKY KRYSARIK! It is 5-9 in. or 14-22 cm. tall. The Chihuahua is 6-10 in.(not 9, many Chihuahuas exceed 9 in.) or 15-23 cm tall. However, Chihuahuas are lighter than Prazsky Krysariks, a really petite 2-6 lbs(Some may reach up to 15 lbs though)! Prazsky Krysariks are 2-6 1/2 lbs. So, while Chihuahuas are light, Prazsky Krysariks are shorter by just a hare. Details are important, you know. Jus’ sayin’.
