Online book Stores in Pakistan was not a very popular thing couple of years ago but last year and a half is very different for all of us. This pandemic changed almost every thing. Every one affects with this pandemic one way or other. Life is not same as before. What I think I get from this pandemic is that in this fast life and contently working all the time We should take a break and give some time to our family and for yourself as well.

During lock down times and online work what I feel the most that I have some spare time and how to utilize that time. The first thing came to my mind is lets starts read some books. I loved reading books in my childhood, Inspector Jamshaid Series, Amabar Naag Maria, Imran Series, Harry Potter, The Twilight. You name it and I probably have read it. But in this fast pace practical life I almost forget to read. During lock down and in this spare time I started reading some novels and now for more than a year I am regularly reading books whenever I can and I am very happy. How to Find Online book Stores in Pakistan

It was difficult to get books during lock down period so I looked up online for some bookstore. Here are some of those which I personally used and my experience was quite good. I think every one knows Readings and Liberty books but still I mentioned those. Rest in the list are mostly run by young entrepreneurs and some small local book stores. So its always good to support local business community. So without further delay, here is my list of online book stores in Pakistan.

Readings

Its is one the leading bookstore in Pakistan. Currently they have two branches in Lahore but they deliver nation wide. They have such a huge collection of books and most probably you can get almost every famous book from here. Price is also very reasonable.

Liberty Books

I think they don’t need any introduction. Liberty books had branches in major cities and their online store is also very active. You can get almost every book and you can request to import any book as well.

Gosha e Adab

This one was new for me. I didn’t know much about them other than that they are a Quetta based book store. I think the online business mostly managed by two young brothers. But man! They are professionals and passionate about their work. I purchased few books from them and they never disappoints.

Book Corner Jhelum

Managed by two brothers who are very humble, professional and passionate about books. Mostly deals in Urdu Literature and they have quite a good collection. You can get some Famous English books and novels as well. They are seller and publishers as well. You can get in house publishing books in discounted price.

Atlantis Publications

If you know Ishtiaq Ahmed then you definitely know about this company as well. In early 2000s when the sale of Jassosi Novels for Children was very low and Ishtiaq Ahmed closed his own publishing house then Farooq Ahmed from Karachi who is a huge fan of his Novels came to meet him. He insist that Ishtiaq Ahmed keeps writing those novels and he’ll establish a publishing house to publish and sell his novels. First he refused but then he agreed and resume writing novels for Atlantis Publications. If you are a 70s, 80s or 90s kid and you want to relive those moments or if you want to introduce Ishtaiq Saab’s fictional characters to your children then you can definitely pick those novels from here. They are still publishing those novels.

Faraz Library

Young man from Karachi. Mostly sell old books but sometimes new as well. He mostly deals in Urdu novels and series. You can get old books in very reasonable price. He had a Facebook page and he regularly posts new books on his page so definitely follow his Facebook page.

Bookish Outlet

This is an Instagram account. This not a bookstore but you can get English novels in reasonable price. They add new posts when they have any new book in stock so make sure you follow this account.

Azira’s Books Pk

This is also an Instagram account. This not a bookstore but you can get English novels in reasonable price. Mostly they sell preloved old books but some are new as well. They add new posts when they have any new book in stock so make sure you follow this account.

Urdu Novels 6

This is an Instagram account which deals with Urdu novels. They have listed some deals on their page and you can get some Urdu novels in very good price. They offer some good deals almost every month so make sure you follow this account.

So this is my list for online book stores in Pakistan. I know there are lot more but as I personally purchased from each of these stores and I am very happy with my purchase.
