There are many drama serials in past 5-6 years which had a great impact on audience but the drama serial which gained record breaking success and immense popularity among his audience is definitely HUMSAFAR.  Serial on aired from September 2011-March 2012 on Hum tv in Pakistan every Saturday 8 pm. Total number of episodes were 23 and each one of them is worth watching. Well for a good drama serial story matters a lot but the good execution of the story is also as important as the story itself.

This drama was based on a novel written by “Farhat ishtiaq” who is well known novel writer of Pakistan. Drama serial was directed by “Sarmad Sultan khoosat” who is a famous name in Pakistan television industry. He also gave the guest appearance in this serial. The title song Woh humsafar tha was amazing, the lyrics of this song was written by Naseer Turabi and brilliantly sung by Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch.

When we talk about the concept of the story, it was a simple love triangle of ASHER, KHIRAD, and SARA. Asher character played by Fawad khan, Khirad character played by Mahira khan and Sara character played by Naveen waqar. In this serial Fawad khan and Mahira khan played husband and wife, and I must say the chemistry between them was flawless. Khirad character was very strong throughout the serial. She struggled a lot for herself and for her daughter. Asher character was an ideal son of his parents. Sara character was best friend of Asher and deeply in love with Asher.

Each step of the story is so effective and every actor in the serial has done a great job. I hardly notice any flaws in the serial. The dialogues, emotions and performance, everything was fabulous and If you are a fan of drama serial Humsafar you can totally agree with me. This serial is very famous not only in Pakistan but also internationally as well. In case you don’t know about this serial or have not watched yet, you have to watch it. I am sure you will enjoy every bit of this serial.
